I usually do the old fashioned way. Bake, add frosting and mix. This time I wanted to have a quicker method.
DIY 12: No bake Lego cake pop
Mini cupcake w/ frosting
lollipop stick
treat bag
Styrofoam block
fondue white chocolate (easier to color than milk chocolate)
icing color
bowls
Scrape off 2/3 of the frosting. If it has sprinkles and you don't want that in your cake pop strategically scrape off those bits. Break the cupcake in half the horizontal way. Take the bottom piece and put it on the top so the frosting looks like the inside filling between 2 cake pieces. put into a larger bowl and squish and mix well until it forms into a brownie type of ball. Form it into the shape of a tater tot.
Melt the white chocolate as directed by the bag and after it's been colored add some of the icing color until your desired color. Dab the lolly pop stick into the mixture and then into the lollipop. The mixture is so liquid you can just pour it onto the cake pop. Quickly add an M & M piece on top. Let it dry.
Use a toothpick to draw a face using the black icing.
Let it dry before putting on the treat bag. You can also add ribbon and a tag if you'd like.
I also made an aquarium version of the No Bake cake pops
